Job Description:
The OpportunityUmbra Cuscinetti, Inc., (UCI) is the U.S. base

precision ballscrews and high precision components for the

design engineering, gear manufacturing and complex assemblies for a
worldwide clientele.The RoleSets up and operates basic, special
purpose, grinding and numerical control (NC) machines and machining
centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. Supports
activities in the manufacturing environment such as deburring,

Education/Experience:High school diploma, general education degree
(GED), or completion of manufacturing-related vocational training
with 3 to 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience.

Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual
should have knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Email
software.
Language Ability:Ability to read and interpret documents such as
safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to
draw, analyze and interpret data into graphical representations,
such as a bar graph or pie chart.
Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to
carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
in standard situations.
Work Environment:This position is in a standard manufacturing
environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee
is exposed to moving mechanical equipment. The noise levels in the
work environment are frequently moderate to loud. Safety glasses
and safety shoes are required throughout the shop floor and hearing
protection is recommended, with the exception of certain
manufacturing areas, which require hearing protection at all
times.
Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this position the
employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb/balance/kneel,
reach, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move up to 35 pounds, with assistance. The employee may be required
to work in loud environments. Employee may be required to wear
personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, focus adjustment.
