If you are a strong individual contributor with a passion for shaping the future of technology, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation and excellence at Rokt.We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Cloud/Infrastructure)Target total compensation ranges from $300,000 - $375,000, including a fixed annual salary of $200,000 - $250,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits.Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.About the Role:

• As part of the Production Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, stability, and reliability of critical cloud infrastructure.
• You will collaborate with a dynamic group of professionals to drive initiatives aimed at developing and improving the scalability, availability, and performance of our systems.
• Take responsibility for system scaling, monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and mentor other engineers on best-practices, architecture, and quality.About You:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) in production environments, with proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Python or JavaScript.
  • Deep expertise in container orchestration (EKS or similar), including deployment, scaling, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of real-time event streaming architectures and distributed systems at scale, including tools like Kafka, Pulsar, and SNS/SQS.
  • Experience with large-scale observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.) and performance monitoring in high-scale, data-intensive environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English - you can explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
