This includes supporting the advancement of camp programs, break camps, and non-school day unlicensed "camps" through oversight and collaboration at the branch level. Fulfill responsibilities of all assigned programs while working in program ratio as needed. Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere that promotes participant safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies, practices, and procedures. This position provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring of staff and volunteers to ensure attainment of quality, safety, and financial goals. The Youth/Teen Program Director is the face of our youth and teen programs and interacts with members on a daily basis, which requires exceptional interpersonal skills.Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Age: 21
• One or more years related experience as a coordinator or supervisor of youth programs
• Pre-employment current driver abstract required (available online through Dept. of licensing)
• Minimum two years driving experience with a clean driving record
• Experience working with youth/teens and their parents
• Experience with staff and volunteer supervision and development
• Expertise in youth development field
• Plan, organize, and implement high-quality developmentally appropriate programming
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in a second language desired
