POSITION PURPOSE
The UW Medicine Neurosciences Institute is seeking a Grants and
Contracts Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to
provide comprehensive management and oversight of post-award
administration for large research labs. This includes ensuring
compliance with grant and contract terms, budgeting, financial
analysis, reporting, and reconciliation. The role requires close
collaboration with Principal Investigators (PIs), lab managers, and
the post-award team to review expenses, allocate FTEs, and resolve
discrepancies in a timely manner. Additionally, the position
oversees the invoicing and payment processes for clinical trials,
ensures the accuracy of signature authorities, and provides expert
guidance on allowable costs and budgetary policies. The individual
will serve as a liaison between faculty, funding agencies, and
administrative units to facilitate effective post-award
operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum
qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a
license/certification/registration.
