Job Description:
VOLT is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer Lead in
EVERETT, WASHINGTON where you will be working with an aerospace
company that designs and produces specialized aerospace parts.

--- Direct Hire, $90,000 - 100,000 per year*
In this role you will lead the introduction of new manufacturing
technology to improve production efficiency and increase capacity
and capability for new product introduction.
As a Manufacturing Engineer Lead you will:
--- Lead projects for the introduction of new manufacturing
technology that significantly enhances the manufacturing
environment and meets customer expectations.
--- Lead detailed process analyses and implement changes to
processes and procedures such as safety procedures, work methods,
production processes and labor standards
--- Oversee production and maintenance manufacturing planning and
sketches for detailed parts and assemblies.
--- Redesign or design tooling to support the manufacture of parts
and assemblies.
--- Lead shop continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and daily
management activities (Kata).
--- Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, drawings/sketches,
new materials, bill of materials, costing and routing.
--- Perform design activities, tests activities, troubleshoots
problems, leads special projects, make MRB decisions, and support
requests for quotes.
--- You may also participate in programing CNC machines such as
lathes, mills, hobs, shapers, and gear grinders.
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
--- Education: BS Engineering degree plus 10 years of work
experience; Master's Degree (M.S) in Mechanical, Electrical, or
Industrial Engineering and at least 8 years of work experience; 15
years of work experience programming machining centers in a
manufacturing setting.
--- Experience in aviation, energy or similarly regulated
industries (preferred).
--- Previous experience implementing new manufacturing
technology.
--- Prior work experience developing assembly processes to support
manufacturing of parts & assemblies (preferred).
--- Experience writing and maintaining manufacturing planning for
detailed parts, mechanical and electrical assemblies
(preferred).
--- Programming experience of 2-5 axis CNC machining centers and
gear analyzers (preferred).
--- Lean and/or Six-Sigma Certification is preferred.
--- Lead of manufacturing engineers, possible supervision of
production personnel.
Salary: $90,000 - 100,000 per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
